Great start to the season for racing club stalwart Le Coeur Net as he completes the 4th win of his career at Plumpton on November 16th. Ridden by regular pilot Ben Godfrey he secured a facile victory when his main protagonist came down at the second last. We hope to run him another 2 to 3 times before the end of 2020 - with targets at either Bangor, Ffos Las, Newbury and Wincanton on the horizon.
Lamanver Bel Ami won first time out this season at Chepstow over hurdles on October 27th ridden by Nick Scholfield. Thanks to the work of both Jack and Nick he appears to have taken a proper step forward this year. His main target has always been to go chasing so we were delighted to see him follow his hurdle win with a thrilling victory first time over fences at Ffos Las on November 18th - this time with Tom Scudamore deputising for the injured Scholfield. We look forward to seeing his continued development as the season progresses.
Lily the Pink continues her development as a staying hurdler who is likely to go chasing in Mares only races later this season. She has run twice so far this season finishing second first time out at Lingfield (behind a horse who has gone on to win again) and 4th last time at Market Rasen in a very competitive race. We will have fun with her this year and we would expect her to develop into an exciting Novice Chaser.
